<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer type instrument which can make a vehicle driver recognize a sudden change of a vehicle state. <P>SOLUTION: A pointer 20 is rotated based on vehicle information and indicates an index part 12 based on the vehicle information which is visibly arranged on a dial plate 10, a first pointer light source 52a illuminates the pointer 20, and pointer light source control means 513 changes luminance L of the first pointer light source 51a based on speed (angular speed ωt) or acceleration (angular acceleration αt) by which the pointer 20 is rotated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
