<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improvement structure body with a vibration reduction function and a vibration reduction method which do not cause a construction cost to be increased even with a configuration capable of suppressing propagation of vibration energy in a manner that transmits ground vibration due to traffic, operation of equipment at a factory or an earthquake to a structure after reducing the ground vibration. <P>SOLUTION: A soil improvement structure body 1, with a vibration reduction function installed between a vibration source and a structure to which ground vibration is transmitted from the vibration source, comprises: an outer soil improvement body 2 which is positioned outside when viewed from a structure side B and constructed by a soil improvement device; an inner soil improvement body 3 which is positioned inward with a distance from the outer soil improvement body 2 when viewed from the structure side B and constructed by the soil improvement device; and a vibration attenuation body 4 which fills a space between the outer soil improvement body 2 and the inner soil improvement body 3.
