The present invention refers to improvements in a foldable rocking chair for relaxation purposes, which unfolded position allows for a comfortable rest while the folded position allows the same to be stored or transported with a colourful cover, the improvements comprising the special design of the semicircular structures thereof and the hinged supports for the back, seat and foot rest portions. The invention includes four separators located in each corner of the seat support for preventing the fabric from pinching when the chair is folder or unfolded; the upper semicircles that for the arm rest portions are attached by scissor mechanisms or stop members that restrict the complete spin thereof, also including rivet hinges and rotation axes for an easy folding and unfolding operation.
