PURPOSE: A band type LED(Light Emitting Diode) lighting device is provided to connect electric wires for power supply to PCBs(Printed Circuit Boards) in parallel in order to supply identical powers to the PCBs, thereby resolving problems in the different levels of illumination due to the distances of LEDs. CONSTITUTION: A band type LED lighting device includes PCB(p) which is a flexible substrate, a connecting element(c), a case(k), a conductive line(pl), and a molding member(m). The PCB has a certain thickness and length, and longitudinally has a printed circuit. Multiple LEDs(l) for the light emission of the printed circuit are mounted on the PCB. Both sides of multiple PCBs are continuously connected with connecting elements(C) so that the PCBs are electrically conductive. The case, which is a flexible cover, has a housing space(s) and an opening portion(o). The PCBs are housed in the housing space, and the opening portion is the opened top of the housing space. The conductive lines at both sides of the housing space are electrically connected to the connecting elements, and supply a driving power form a driving power supplying unit to each PCB in parallel. The molding member is molded on the opening portion so that the housing is closed and waterproof when the PCBs and the conductive lines are installed in the case. |
