PURPOSE: A pre-treating method of a lithium ion secondary battery is provided to collect a large amount of electrode composites comprising an active material by low cost by crushing a large amount of lithium ion secondary batteries without pre-classification. CONSTITUTION: A pre-treating method of a lithium ion secondary battery comprises: a step of crushing a lithium ion secondary battery waste to a size of 5-15 mm comprising an electrolyte, a separation membrane, an electrode composite and a current collector; a step of removing electrolyte by cleaning the crushed material by water and removing a separator by separating the crushed material by specific gravity; a step of treating the crushed material by 1-4 M of sulfuric acid solution and collecting an electrode composite by separating the electrode composite from the current collector.
