<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly specify a physical I/O device in which any failure has occurred in a virtual computer loaded with an I/O device corresponding to an SR-IOV. <P>SOLUTION: The virtual computer system includes a host including a virtualization part for allocating computer resources of a physical computer to a virtual computer, and an I/O device of the physical computer includes PF and VF, and corresponds to SR-IOV, and the physical computer includes a host which uses the PF of the I/O device via a PF driver and the virtual computer which uses the VF of the I/O device via a VF driver, and the virtual computer detects the name of a virtual device in which any failure has occurred in a virtual function, and acquires VF unique information corresponding to the name of the virtual device by referring to device information, and notifies the host of the VF unique information, and the host specifies a slot number corresponding to the VF unique information as the I/O device in which any failure has occurred by referring to I/O correspondence information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
