RESONANCE AND PFC CONTROL INTEGRATED IC AND POWER CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A resonance and PFC(Power Factor Correction) control IC(Integrated Circuit), and a power converter are provided to integrate an interleaved PFC circuit and a resonant converter control circuit into one chip, thereby reducing costs, the number of components, and the size of a product. CONSTITUTION: A resonance and PFC control IC(10) includes an interleaved PFC control block(100) and a resonance control block(200). The interleaved PFC control block controls the first and the second switch of an interleaved switching converter, and compensates a power factor. The interleaved switching converter is formed by connecting a first converter having the first switch with a second converter having the second switch in parallel. The resonance control block receives an output from the interleaved switching converter, and resonates and controls a DC(Direct Current)-DC converter converting the output.
