PURPOSE: A virtual surgery operation simulation method and an apparatus thereof are provided to make an animation by visualizing a bleeding effect for a virtual surgery operation simulation realistically in a virtual surgery operation environment. CONSTITUTION: According to a virtual surgery operation simulation method, a three-dimensional tissue image implemented as a mesh model is displayed on a two-dimensional screen(S210). A random point on the two-dimensional screen corresponding to a part of the three-dimensional tissue image is selected(S220). A center mesh part for the three-dimensional tissue image corresponding to the selected random point is extracted(S230). A bleeding area is modeled by setting a bleeding direction vector by referring to the extracted center mesh part(S240,S250). Bleeding rendering is performed along the direction of the bleeding direction vector(S260). The bleeding area is a set of three-dimensional meshes corresponding to the two-dimensional positions on the bleeding direction vector.
