<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-viewpoint imaging apparatus using a rolling shutter image sensor which estimates the motion of the multi-viewpoint imaging apparatus during imaging and performs image composition or object distance estimation while correcting the influence of distortion of the rolling shutter using the estimated motion. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: multi-viewpoint image acquisition means (701) for acquiring an image group imaged from a plurality of viewpoints; viewpoint arrangement information acquisition means (703) for acquiring relative arrangement of the plurality of viewpoints; corresponding point searching means (704) for searching a set of points on an image corresponding to the same point of an object between the plurality of viewpoints; exposure time calculation means (705) for calculating time at which the acquired points on the image was exposed with light; and motion parameter calculation means (706) for estimating a parameter indicating motion of the plurality of viewpoints during imaging on the basis of a coordinate of the set of points on the image, the time at which the points was exposed with light, and the relative arrangement of the plurality of viewpoints. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
