An electromagnetically operated switching device is provided with an electromagnetic-operation-mechanism driving shaft and a main-circuit-contact moving shaft connecting to a contact pressure spring section or an insulated rod section and opening and closing a main circuit contact section. A gap in the radial direction of both the shafts is provided at the joint between the shafts, and a gap is also provided in the axial direction of both the shafts so that the shafts can be displaced relative to each other in the radial direction. The number of winding of the contact pressure spring section using a coiled spring is set to a number other than integers by shifting the start portion and the end portion of winding of the contact pressure spring section from each other in the circumferential direction. An angle change link for changing the angle of connection between the electromagnetic-operation-mechanism driving shaft and the main-circuit-contact moving shaft, which connects to the contact pressure spring section or the insulated rod section and opens and closes the main circuit contact section, is used to interconnect both the shafts such that the shafts are tilted in the range from 45° to 180°. The configuration stabilizes pole opening/closing operation of the electromagnetically operated switching device so that the operation is independent of the accuracy of parts and assembling, and the electromagnetically operated switching device occupies a reduced installation space. |
