<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit and an electronic apparatus capable of performing a defect dot correction without complicating a pixel circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A display unit includes: a display panel including, for each pixel, four or more types of sub-pixels that are different from one another in luminescent colors; and a driving circuit for driving the sub-pixels. The driving circuit applies a pulse based on an image signal to each of the sub-pixels, and also applies, when there exists a sub-pixel of a defect dot, a compensated pulse configured to correct the defect dot to the plural sub-pixels that are adjacent or close to the sub-pixel of the defect dot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
