<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor sheet for a porous electrode base material having a low manufacturing cost of precursor sheets and having reduced fiber bundles in which carbon fibers are bundled, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a precursor sheet for a porous electrode base material by papermaking fiber mixed slurry, in which (i) fibers in the fiber mixed slurry is a mixture of short carbon fibers (A) and precursor fibers (b), and a mixed ratio of the short carbon fibers (A) is 40% or more and 90% or less as a mass ratio to a whole amount of the fiber materials, (ii) a fiber concentration of the fiber mixture in the fiber mixed slurry is 0.8-1.8 g/L, and (iii) freeness of the fiber mixed slurry is 80-300 ml. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
