<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a shift in the placement and deformation of a part pattern in a short time even if a wide material fabric is used so as to prevent correction from adversely influencing a cycle time of the full cutting operation, thereby improving efficiency in cutting when the wide material fabric is used. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for cutting the fabric includes: a fabric table 2 for supporting the material fabric W; a cutting head 3 provided above the fabric table 2; a head moving mechanism 4 for elevating, horizontally turning and horizontally moving the cutting head 3; and a detection section 5 for detecting indication on the material fabric W. The detection section 5 includes: a light source 27 for illuminating the material fabric W with uniform illuminance in a transverse direction linearly across at least the indications; and a line sensor camera 28 disposed to juxtapose a plurality of light receiving elements 30 along the transverse direction at a position where the reflected light of the illuminating light from the light source 27 reflected on the material fabric W can be received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
