<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both weight reduction and strength improvement by having a plastic link plate body and cylindrical reinforcing materials integrally installed on inner surfaces of connecting holes. <P>SOLUTION: This link plate 10 for a chain is provided for attaining both the weight reduction and the strength improvement by installing the cylindrical reinforcing materials 12 in the connecting holes 11a of the plastic link plate body 11, and achieving an optional external shape.
