<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance orientation accuracy regarding the position of a mobile body by a positional orientation system. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile body 3 is provided with a mobile terminal 30 and an azimuth sensor 37; positional orientation signals 800 transmitted from a first antenna 34 is supplemented with an axial direction figured out from the azimuth sensor 37 and with information indicating a beam direction θ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>of the first antenna 34 figured out from an angle θ<SB POS="POST">0</SB>formed by the axial direction and the beam direction of the first antenna 34; when a base station 20 has received the positional orientation signals 800, a direction θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>in which the mobile terminal 30 is present is figured out on the basis of phase differences of the positional orientation signals 800 received by a plurality of reception antennas 25; on the basis of the figured-out direction θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, the information indicating the beam direction θ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and information indicating a beam spread angle θ<SB POS="POST">R</SB>, it is determined whether or not the first antenna 34 having transmitted the positional orientation signals 800 is directed toward the base station 20; and, if it is, the position of the mobile body 3 is figured out on the basis of that positional orientation signals 800. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
