<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical video processing method and apparatus therefor in which a medical professional can accurately grasp the presence/absence, size and position or the like of lesion in a subject. <P>SOLUTION: A medical video processing method includes the stages of: converting at least one medical video image to decompose at least the one medical video image into multi-scale video information having a plurality of directions; estimating coefficient dispersion of video information of each scale in the multi-scale video information; utilizing the estimated dispersion and coefficients of video information of a plurality of scales including each scale to adjust a coefficient value of video information of each scale; and inversely converting the adjusted multi-scale video information having the plurality of directions to generate a restored video image of at least the one medical video image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
