摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device applicable to a battery pack including an odd number of battery cells connected to each other in series, and capable of properly determining a disconnection of an input line from each battery cell. <P>SOLUTION: The battery monitoring device monitors a voltage on each battery cell in a flying capacitor method. The battery monitoring device applies a voltage from each of the battery cells V1-V5 to a capacitor 222 in order while inverting the polarity and determines whether the polarity of the voltage applied to the capacitor 222 is inverted to thereby determine a disconnection of input lines VBB1-VBB6 between the battery cells V1-V5 and the capacitor 222. The order of voltage application of a battery cell from which the voltage is applied to the capacitor 222 first in previous disconnection determination processing is transposed to the application order of voltage of another battery cell from which the voltage is applied to the capacitor 222 next odd-number-th after the first in the previous disconnection determination processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
