<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a cylindrical tube and a method of sealing the cylindrical tube, allowing the cylindrical tube to be stably supported inside a vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The support structure 40 of the cylindrical tube supports the cylindrical tube 11 having a primary chamber 21 inside and including both ends sealed, by upper and lower tube plates 13B provided at both the ends of a shell part. A first groove 46A and a second groove 46B are provided in the upper and lower tube plates 13B. The support structure includes: an O-ring holder 41 including a first recess 48A in which a first O-ring 47A in contact with the first groove 46A is loaded, and a second recess 48B in which a second O-ring 47B in contact with the cylindrical tube 11 is loaded; a pressing lid 42 for pressing the O-ring holder 41 in the axial direction of the cylindrical tube 11; and a bolt 43 which is screwed into a slot 49 of the pressing lid 42 and presses the O-ring holder 41 in the axial direction of the cylindrical tube 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
