<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floc strength measuring instrument capable of measuring floc strength online. <P>SOLUTION: The floc strength measuring instrument relating to an embodiment measures floc strength online in a water treatment system for separating flocs formed by adding a flocculant and a flocculant aid to raw water acquired from a river to create relatively clean water. The floc strength measuring instrument samples water to be treated containing flocs, gives shear force to the sampled water to be treated, detects a state of flocs contained in the water to be treated with the shear force given, and determines the strength of the flocs before giving the shear force on the basis of the detection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
