<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in the conventional print systems, only PDL data (PostScript or PCL) has been transmitted, which can be processed by a printing device by using a driver on a client computer; in order to correct simple mistakes found during trial printing, it was required to go back to the client computer to correct data and print again; and in a POD market where an operator who operates data on a client computer is often different from an operator who operates a print system, it takes an immense amount of time and effort to correct data in the above-mentioned situation. <P>SOLUTION: When PDL data is transmitted to a printer, application data is transmitted at the same time to allow a PC to share the application data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
