<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection-type image display device which, when displaying an OSD within a screen in which a 3D image is projected, suppresses difficulty for a user to view the displayed OSD. <P>SOLUTION: A projector projects a 3D image. An OSD superimposition unit superimposes a 2D-displayed OSD on the image projected by the projector. If the size of the OSD is larger than a setting size, a switch controller switches the image to be projected from the projector from a 3D image to a 2D image. If the displayed content of the OSD relates to the image, the switch controller may keep the projection of the 3D image even if the size of the OSD is larger than the setting size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
