PURPOSE: A column mounting method of a drilling rig is provided to minimize a defect generation part by minimizing a connection part and to reduce construction periods according to mounting construction of a column through a pre-installation of an outfit. CONSTITUTION: A column mutually connects a platform and a pontoon of a drilling rig and is manufactured as a structure form divided into two parts in a vertical longitudinal direction(S11). An outfit mounted on the inside or the outside of a structure is manufactured(S12). The outfit is mounted on the inside and the outside of the structure(S13). The column comprised by connecting the structures is mounted on the pontoon(S14).
