PURPOSE: An evaporative humidifier with a water level sensing function is provided to constitute a variant unit which moves vertically between a water tank and a water container mounting unit for preventing a sensor sensing a water level from being in contact with water, thereby preventing the malfunction of the sensor. CONSTITUTION: An evaporative humidifier with a water level sensing function comprises a body(100), a fan housing unit, a water tank(130), a humidification disc unit, a water container mounting unit(150), a variant unit(160), and a sensor. The body includes an inlet and an outlet. The fan housing unit is install inside the body and operated so that the air has flown into through the inlet is discharged through the outlet. The water tank is installed in the lower part of the body. The water tank is installed in the lower part of the body. The humidification disc unit is installed inside the water tank and evaporates the water on the surface thereof while rotating. A position of the variant unit is varied vertically by the weight of a water container(110). The sensor is installed inside the body, thereby sensing the height of the variant unit.
