The block (1) has two identical elements (2, 3) that are shaped for being interlocked with each other to adjust the length of the block. One of the elements includes, on a part of its length, two contact faces (4, 5) that are in contact with the other element, where each face is separated by a transverse hook (6). Each element includes front and rear walls (8, 9) to delimit an insulation space (10), and an intermediate wall (11) formed between the front and rear walls and extending only on a part of the length of the block.
