摘要

The present invention is intended to demonstrate the use of N, N'dialkyl derivatives of dapsone and the therapeutic use thereof in diseases where dapsone has proved to be clinically effective: Epilepsy, Huntington, Parkinson, Alzheimer diseases, cerebral infarct, and a traumatic spine injury. Dapsone and the derivatives thereof had a cellular protective effect, reducing the activity in a behavioural spin test and maintaining the levels of GABA striatal content. It has been proved that the analogues significantly reduce the methemoglobinemia generated by the original molecule (dapsone).
