<p>PURPOSE: A substrate for a solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize the recombination loss of carries by covering the back surface of the solar cells with a passivation layer, and to improve cell efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A passivation layer is formed in the back surface of a substrate and has a dot pattern. BSFs are corresponded to the opened positions of the passivation layer. A back electrode is electrically connected to the BSFs. The area rate of the dot pattern to the substrate is 0.15-5%. The arrangement of the dot pattern is a square matrix, a triangle matrix or a beehive-like shape.</p> |
