The method involves acquiring multiple gears (VaAVG, VaAVD, VaARG, VaARD) of wheels (AVG, AVD, ARD, ARG) of a car (1), where the car is equipped with a ON/OFF type control device (5). First minimum speed (Vmin) of acquired gears is calculated. Second minimum speed of the acquired gears is calculated excluding the acquired gears with the first minimum speed. Relative information of the acquired gears is transmitted to a monitoring system (4) through a communication network (7) of the car by a programmed electro-stabilizer (6). An independent claim is also included for a device for operating an engine equipped in a car.
