PREPARATION OF CRYSTALLINE FORM II OF GLYCERYL PHOSPHORYL CHOLINE

PURPOSE: Crystal type II of L-alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline is provided to pharmaceutically change the formulation or the capacity, and to produce various formulations with high drug compliance. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing crystal type II of glyceryl phosphoryl choline comprises: a step of concentrating liquid phase L-alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline containing 15-18% of moisture at 45-65 deg. C for 8-10 hours, and reducing moisture content to 6-12%; a step of adding the concentrated L-alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline and cooling at 5-20 deg. C; a step of adding 0.1-0.5 mol% of crystal type II of glyceryl phosphoryl choline; and a step of maturing for 2-5 hours and filtering.
