PURPOSE: An eject pin structure for protecting a work-piece in a press mold is provided to integrate urethane protective units with the contact portions of all the eject pins pushing the work-piece, thereby protecting the surface of the work-piece. CONSTITUTION: An eject pin structure for protecting a work-piece in a press mold is such that a protective insertion hole(31) is bored at the top of an eject pin(30) in contact with the work-piece. A protective unit(40), which is softer than the work-piece, is coupled to the protective unit insertion hole, and the protective unit is more protrusive than the top of the eject pin. The protective unit is formed with urethane or an ABS(Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) resin, and a contact head(41) is formed on the top of the protective unit. The outer diameter of the contact head is equal to or smaller than the diameter of the eject pin. The outer diameter of the protective unit has a positive tolerance compared to the inner diameter of the protective unit insertion hole so that the protective unit is forcibly inserted into the protective unit insertion hole and is integrated with the eject pin. |
