PURPOSE: A decontamination apparatus using micro bubbles and a method thereof are provided to minimize the generation of second waste at the time of decontamination containing radioactive contamination. CONSTITUTION: A decontamination apparatus using micro bubbles(10) includes: activated charcoal, which contains the radioactive contamination; a cleaning bath(11) containing water which is at an operating water level; and a micro bubble generator(13) which generates micro bubbles and puts the micro bubbles into the cleaning bath. The inputted activated charcoal into the cleaning bath is dipped in a cleaning solution, which contains the micro bubbles generated by the micro bubble generator, and is rotated and mixed, thereby removing C14 which is contained in the activated charcoal. |
