LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION

A lubricating oil composition is obtained by blending: a base oil (1) of which the kinematic viscosity at 100°C is 1.5 mm2/s to 3.5 mm2/s; a base oil (2) of which the kinematic viscosity at 100°C is greater than 3.5 mm2/s and not more than 100 mm2/s; a polymethacrylate that has a mass-average molecular weight of 1×104 to 4×104; and a sulfur compound. The kinematic viscosity of the lubricating oil composition at 100°C is 5 mm2/s to 6 mm2/s, and the viscosity index is at least 200.
