PURPOSE: A device and a method for automatically driving an outside mirror of a vehicle are provided to prevent damages to the outside mirror from not spreading to the outside mirror when an obstacle is close to the vehicle while a passenger with a smart key is close to the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A device for automatically driving an outside mirror of a vehicle comprises a smart key ECU(1a), a sensor, and a body control module(2). The smart key ECU is built in a smart key(1). The sensor is built in the vehicle to sense an obstacle in the surrounding of the vehicle. The body control module is formed to communicate with the smart key ECU. The body control module is built in the vehicle to control the operation of a driver seat door module(3) and a passenger seat door module(4) using a signal delivered from the sensor.
