PURPOSE: A high-capacity hydroxyl group generating apparatus is provided to improve the safety of operations by charging a battery with AC input power and using the battery when the AC input power is blocked. CONSTITUTION: A high-capacity hydroxyl group generating apparatus(100) includes a main body(110), a hydroxyl group generating part(112), a battery(140), an electric charger(150), and a relay(160). A storage bath(114) is formed in the main body in order to store water. The hydroxyl group generating part is arranged at the storing bath. The battery supplies power to the hydroxyl group generating part. The electric charger supplies power. The relay controls the connection of the battery and the electric charger. The electric connection of the battery and the electric charger is blocked by the relay when the hydroxyl group generating part operates.
