EVALUATION METHOD, SCREENING METHOD, ANTIPRURITIC SUBSTANCE AND ANTIPRURITIC REMEDY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for evaluating, screening and acquiring an antipruritic substance which is valid for an itch based on an itch generation mechanism different from the universally known itch generation mechanism of an animal.

SOLUTION: Disclosed is the evaluation method for evaluating the antipruritic effects of a substance to be tested on the basis of activation inhibition effects on activation-induced HDC(L-histidine decarboxylation enzyme) in the keratinocyte (cornification cell) of mammal epidermis.
