<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a battery, capable of effectively detecting failure of an electric short circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A method for inspecting a battery having: an electrode laminate in which a positive electrode, a separator and a negative electrode are laminated; a positive electrode terminal connected to the positive electrode; a negative electrode terminal connected to the negative electrode; and a housing including a metal layer and a resin layer arranged inside the metal layer, for storing and sealing the electrode laminate and an electrolyte therein so that one ends of the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are projected to the outside, comprises the steps of: storing the electrode laminate inside the housing and applying a first voltage to between the positive terminal and the negative terminal with no injection of the electrolyte to perform withstand voltage determination (first withstand voltage determination step: S3); and applying a second voltage higher than the first voltage to between the positive terminal and the negative terminal to perform the withstand voltage determination (second withstand voltage determination step: S4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
