<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery which has an iron-containing positive electrode active material and which can achieve a high battery capacity maintenance rate even with iron deposited on a negative electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode including a current collector and a positive electrode active material layer formed on the surface of the current collector, provided that the positive electrode active material layer includes an iron-containing positive electrode active material; a negative electrode including a current collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the surface of the current collector, provided that the negative electrode active material layer includes a negative electrode active material; and an electrolytic layer including an electrolyte interposed between the positive and negative electrode active material layers. The amount of iron deposited on the negative electrode when 1C cycle test was performed at 55°C 200 times was 1 μg/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more. The positive electrode active material, the negative electrode active material, or the electrolytic layer includes at least one metal selected from the group consisting of vanadium, ruthenium, titanium, chromium, molybdenum, manganese, niobium, zinc, cadmium, barium, tin, tantalum and tungsten. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
