<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an adsorbent that can purify a blood coagulation factor or cell-adhesion factor under mild conditions, with simple procedures and safely at low cost, while retaining high affinity and deterioration resistance; and a method for purifying the blood coagulation factor or cell-adhesion factor. <P>SOLUTION: This adsorbent to the blood coagulation factor or cell-adhesion factor is a polypeptide having a peptide fragment represented by formula (1):-(Pro-Hyp-Gly)<SB POS="POST">n</SB>-, wherein n is an integer of 2 to 9,000.
