<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank structure and a ship capable of reducing work such as processing, temporary assembling, fitting, and welding. <P>SOLUTION: The tank structure includes a plurality of girder members 2 which are used for a tank 1 which houses a low temperature liquid such as LNG and LPG, and are arranged at a tank inner surface 11 along the circumferential direction in the length direction (Y direction) with an interval, and a plurality of frame members 3 arranged at the tank inner surface 11 along the length direction (Y direction) in the minor side direction (X direction) or the height direction (Z direction) with an interval. A part of the girder member 2 in the circumferential direction is arranged at a tank outer surface 12. Thus, the number of penetration parts (connection part) where the frame member 3 penetrates the girder member 2 is decreased. The girder member 2 includes an upper girder member 21 disposed at an upper part, a lower girder member 22 disposed at a lower part, and a pair of side girder members 23 and 23 arranged at a side.
