<p>This automatic vehicle-engine control device is provided with the following: a braking-amount detecting means (master-cylinder pressure sensor (13)) that detects the amount by which the driver is braking (a master-cylinder pressure); an engine stopping/restarting means (engine control unit (10)) that, when coasting, stops the engine (1) on the basis of the detected braking amount, and after stopping the engine (1), restarts the engine (1) when the detected braking amount falls below a first threshold (coast-stop permission minimum (BRKOUT)); and a first-threshold setting means (steps S103-S107). The higher the speed (VSP) of the vehicle is, the lower the first-threshold setting means sets the first threshold.</p> |
