Disclosed are new compositions consisting of mixtures of flame retardants for thermoplastic polyester elastomers based on a phosphinate salt, phosphonate oligomers, polymers or copolymers and, optionally, a melamine derivative. The compositions exhibit an excellent combination of processing characteristics, thermal and mechanical properties, and are flame retardant. Further disclosed are articles of manufacture produced from these materials, such as fibers, films, coated substrates, moldings, foams, fiber-reinforced articles, or any combination thereof. |
