The transmission (1) has two sub-transmissions. Each sub-transmission has input shaft (EW1,EW2) and driven shaft (AW) which are arranged on a major axis (2). A reduction gear (4) has countershafts (VW1-VW3) arranged on minor axis (3) parallel to major axis. The switching elements (S1-S8) are connected with driven shaft, and the switching arrangements (SE1-SE4) are arranged such that the two countershafts are connected with one another on minor axis by switching arrangement (SE1).
