PURPOSE: A handle type door locking device is provided to lock a door without embedding a separate locking member into a door or a door frame. CONSTITUTION: A handle type door locking device comprises a handle(10), a fixing block(20), and a locking member(30). The handle is fix-joined to the front one side of a hinged door. A receiving groove(11a) is formed in the rear surface of the handle. The handle opens or closes the hinged door. The fixing block is fix-joined to an adjacent portion adjacent to the hinged door when the hinged door is closed. A penetration unit(20a) is formed in the inside of the fixing block. The fixing block is fitted into the receiving groove of the handle when the hinged door is closed. The locking member locks the handle and the fixing block when the hinged door is closed for preventing a relative motion of the handle and the fixing block.
