SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFE FILLING OF HYDROGEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for safe filling of hydrogen to fill hydrogen to a hydrogen tank more safely by reflecting real time deformation information of the hydrogen tank at filling hydrogen to a fuel cell vehicle.

SOLUTION: A system for safe filling of hydrogen includes: a deformation measuring unit 10 disposed at a hydrogen tank 2 of a vehicle 1, and for outputting deformation range of the hydrogen tank 2 which is measured by a strain gauge disposed at a tank wall; a vehicle side controlling unit 20 for outputting wireless transmittable tank deformation range data by converting an output signal of the deformation measuring unit 10; a wireless communication means 30 provided for wireless data transmission/reception between the vehicle side controlling unit 20 and a hydrogen station side controlling unit 41; the hydrogen station side controlling unit 41 for aborting hydrogen filling operation of a hydrogen filler 40 when detecting tank deformation whose range is larger than a predetermined value based on the tank deformation information received by the wireless communication means 30 from the vehicle side controlling unit 20.
