<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of keeping a room in a sanitary condition. <P>SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a body 2 for forming storage compartments 4, 5 using a heat insulation box 3 with heat insulating materials filled therein, and a machine room 6 disposed downward of the heat insulation box 3; and an ion delivery device 34 having an ion generator 35 for generating ion and an air blowing fan 36, and disposed upward of the body 2.
