<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which information can be effectively processed in a plurality of terminals, regardless of a difference in platform. <P>SOLUTION: This information processing system processes information through communication between a first information processing device and a second information processing device. The second information processing device has a recording unit and a control unit. The recording unit records a first OS and a second OS. The control unit selects one of the first OS and the second OS, according to a connection state with the first information processing device.
