Provided is a technology for servicing an item for winning points bought through points won when a user wins in a game. The method for providing an item for winning points according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: outputting a registered player character selection window through a user terminal in order to apply an item for winning points by selecting one person from the registered player characters which are registered player characters in a slot provided for applying a character item in a game in the user terminal, when a winning point item providing server receives a user selection input for an item for winning points, which is an item bought and possessed by winning points which can be obtained from the user terminal when the user wins in an online sports game; maintaining additional property values at a number equal to the number of usable games when a registered player character selection input is received from the user terminal, and applying the winning point item, which is an item having the characteristic of a fixed number of games that can be used, to the selected player character; and outputting the registered player character list, being a list including a list of player characters to which the winning point item is applied, on the user terminal. |
