<p>A sheet used in a light-emitting device has a plurality of layers that include a light-emitting layer. The sheet includes a first layer (51) having a plurality of projections (60), and a second layer (52) that is formed on the first layer (51). Each of the plurality of projections (60) has a plurality of stepped portions that have at least two levels. The second layer (52) is formed at least on the top surface of the stepped portions. The sheet satisfies the relationship represented by n1 > n2 > n0, when the effective refractive index of the first layer (51) is set to be n1 and the effective refractive index of the second layer (52) is set to be n2, and then the refractive index of the atmosphere that is located over the second layer (52) is set to be n0.</p> |
