<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device in which burr does not occur on the edge of a transferred body when transferring a protective layer and reception layer to the entire surface of the transferred body on the transferred body, achieving stable transferring property. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer device includes a heat roller which transfers the protective layer of a protective layer transfer sheet, or the protective layer and reception layer of an intermediate transfer recording medium to the transferred body using the protective layer transfer sheet which is provided with the protective layer to be able to peel on a substrate or the intermediate transfer recording medium which is sequentially provided with the protective layer and the reception layer to be able to peel on the substrate. A stepped part with the outer diameter smaller than the diameter of the heat roll at a position in contact with the transferred body is continuously formed in a rotation direction of the heat roller on the surface of the heat roller adjacent to the position at which the transferred body makes contact with the heat roller through the protective layer transfer sheet or the intermediate transfer recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
