A liquid container communicable with a liquid jet head of a liquid jet device via a liquid supply member is provided with: a pouring port for liquid; a liquid containing part capable of containing the liquid poured through the pouring port; and a supply port connectable to the liquid supply member. A first part that includes the pouring port in the liquid container is relatively displaceable with respect to a second part that is different from the first part and includes the liquid containing part in the liquid container.
