The purpose of the present invention is to provide a secondary battery electrode plate, and in one embodiment of the present invention the secondary battery electrode plate is equipped with a rectangular plate shaped electrode plate main-body, and corner sections formed by the meeting of the end sections of the left-right longitudinal surface and the up-down widthwise surface of the electrode plate main-body, and is characterised in that the corner sections comprise: first curved surface sections which join with the widthwise surface of the electrode plate main-body and which extend in the longitudinal surface direction of the main-body; inclined surface sections which join with the first curved surface sections and which are formed so as to be inclined toward the longitudinal direction; second curved surface sections which are joined to the base end section of the inclined surface sections and which extend toward the longitudinal surface direction; and a parallel surface section of which one end section is connected to the second curved surface sections and is formed so as to be aligned with the widthwise surface of the electrode plate main-body, and the other end section is joined to the longitudinal surface.
